Anybody using one of these and, if so, what do you think of it?

My wife an I just bought a Sharp 70" tv and, quite coincidentally, a Dell windows 8 desktop PC that has an internal BD Rom drive and, consequently, OEM PDVD 10.
Rather than buy a bluray player, I'd like to use the PC as an HTPC and use the above WiHD system's transmitter to transmit an HD signal to the system's receiver at the TV. One of the apparent advantages of the above system is that it has an HDMI passthrough port. This will allow our present Sharp 32" 1080p monitor/TV to display what the big TV displays, which could be advantageous.
Obviously, I'd like to know if the system actually works before buying it and would appreciate any input from users of this sytem. (Our TV is no more than 20 feet from the TV and there will be no walls between the transmitter and receiver.)
