New to this MCACC stuff and don't quite understand all of its functions. When using this feature, are the settings stored for using Acous.EQ mode? If i were to change any of the settings, what would be the need to have the EQ mode on?

If you change the acoustical EQ settings you modified them from what the auto setup set them at. You still need EQ mode on to use your modified settings it's just a modified EQ. If you turn off MCACC then you've turned off all EQ settings even if you modified them. I recommended you spend time this thread http://www.avsforum.com/t/1112470/official-pioneer-mcacc-thread/0_50 . It's dedicated to MCACC and there are some very knowledgeable people in there who answer question pretty quick.
