Should I notice a huge difference going from the Denon 1613 to Onkyo 809?

I want to possibly go 7.2 one day soon. I have two subs already.

Depends on your speakers, and how loud you turn you system up. But overall, probably not that big of a difference.

What I'm really wondering is if I would essentially be going backwards since the 1613 is a newer receiver. I do mostly home theater so my system doesn't usually go past the 60% max volume point.

I do know that the 1613 could never give me 7.2 but I don't believe the 809 can eq both subs anyhow. The 809's version of audyssey is a little better but I don't know if that will make a big difference or not.

Thoughts?
