Just got a 65" VT50 from Best Buy for $2499.99 (they price matched Paul's TV sale) with free delivery, it will be here on Friday.
I only now realize that Panasonic does not include 3D glasses with their TV's ( ) and am having trouble on picking out pairs to buy. I know that all of the xx50 series from Panny use the new active 3D universal standard developed for 2012+ so I have some options opened, I'm just not sure what those options are - The official Panasonic ones are kinda expensive at $52 per pair on Amazon, and I've heard that the Samsung ones kinda suck even though they are priced at only ~$18 each. Any others? Thoughts? I remember seeing ones that allow you to switch between 3D and 2D modes with the glasses (ie: if my girlfriend and I are watching a movie and we both have the glasses on, if one of us doesn't want to watch it in 3D there's a button/switch on the glasses to view the movie in 2D through the glasses instead) but I cannot remember the brand...
Thanks guys!
