Hello all,

This will be my first receiver that I am ever going to purchase and I am looking for the best one out of the following list. The main thing I am looking for is a good, quality, feature rich receiver that will last me a long time. I picked the following receivers by reading reviews and the impressive features. Since I don't know much about receivers unlike many of you, I need help picking the best one. If you guys have any other recommendations I would appreciate it as well. The price range is also very important and these are the ones that I can buy at my price range.

List:

1) Sony STR-DA2800ES

2) Marantz SR5007

3) Denon AVR-3313CI

4) Denon AVR-2313CI

Thanks so much smile.gif

What speakers do you have?
What features are a must for you?

I don't have speakers yet. I would appreciate a recommendation of some good quality 5.1 speakers. Around $500.

Features I like are:

4K video support (4K video upscaling, video pass-through and GUI overlay)
AirPlay
5+ HDMI
Automated audio calibration
Good sound quality/power
Internet radio (Pandora)
Easy GUI

Thanks!

You do know that Sony's 4K TV is like 25 grand right.

You are spending too much for the receiver. You want to spend 2 to 3 times as much for the speakers than your receiver.

What's your total budget (receiver + speakers), like 1500?

Yeah but I don't want to buy a receiver later on. I want one that is somewhat feature proof. Yes my budget would be around $1500 - $2000.

Anyone? I'm leaning towards Denon AVR-2313CI... is Denon good still or would you guys recommend something else from the list? Thanks.
