Hey guys, new here and thought I would ask for some advice.
I have a 30x40 building that I use as an office. Half of this building is a large open room with 15' ceilings and part of that open room is a sitting area with a TV, etc... Typical living room setup.
Anyway, I would like to put a nice sounding 3.1 system in. As it stands, I have a nice LED tv and a powered Yamaha sub that is probably 20 years old at this point, but I still love it - sentimental value I guess.
Anyway, what would you guys suggest for an amp as well as a nice front stage - a left, right, and center? I might go to a 5.1 later, but want to focus on the front stage first.
Lets figure a budget of about $800.
Thanks so much in advance,
Ryan

Fwiw, that seems like a large area for the Yamaha Sub and when you put on top of that you are looking for 3 bookshelf/monitor speakers for around $800 it may be difficult to do...That said, To stay close to your budget/specifications you may want to check the used market for your best bang-for-your-buck.
