I will be powering up the twins tonight. Going to set them up with the spl meeter and run some test. Only one problem, I cant decide what scene to try first.

With the 15Hz extension you have, Scott Pilgrim's amp vs amp scene is a good one, or the Terminator Salvation gas station scene, or reviving Megatron from TF2 are good ones. if you are high passed well, The Incredible Hulk's Sonic Cannon scene will move you.

They ended up being 4.40- 4.50 internal volume taking into account the port and driver, bracing. 30X20x17.5 external size.single 4inch port 22inches long not including the flaired portions. and are tuned to 16.5-17.5. i will be running the Eq2 as a eq and high pass at around 14. but that will need to be played with. then i added a high pass in winisd that seemed to look good. and then will probably just even aout any peaks and do a little house curve. I hope they perform well. I will be messing with them in an hour or so and let everyone know how it all turns out within the next few days. cant wait to get home.

i dont have a router so the port butts up from behind and then I used a course file and sandpaper to mold the outer port flair.

Well I will let you all know how I feel about these in a few days. But I will say these slay my a2300 and I will never purchase a premade sub again. And yes the TF2 scene above has notes I have never felt or heard before. Until now:D

I couldn't tell from your pic that you posted but can you disable the HPF that's built into the ed lt-200 plate amp or do you know what the HPF is set at? I modeled your sub with your specs to see how it looked and a 16Hz 3rd order HPF seemed to be perfect.

If you start from where Ravage lands on the container ship, it is a good ride up until Megatron knees Starscream in the chest. That one hit extends down to 10Hz. Best part is as the 'doctor' approaches Megatron prior to reviving him. Strong ~20Hz there...

TF2 has lots of great scenes for 15Hz extension. Check out when the pillars fall on the d-cons after the tanks open fire in the desert. Good stuff.

The pillars falling was the one that made my son smile. We watched at -18 so I really havent unleashed there full potential. My son is 12 and helped throughout the build. He was pretty proud when those scenes shook him. Even he said they don't even sound like they are trying they just sound so much more real than the a2300.

Thanks he is really into it. He even tries to guess what Hz scenes are and will have me get on here to find out what Hz they hit.

I have had some time to watch a couple movies and throw some of the torture scenes at these. So far they have past everything I have thrown at them. I haven't had to use the hpf on the eq2 but the Amps have a hpf just not100% sure when it kicks in or at what Hz. After all was said and done I have a total of $140.00 into each one. I never dreamed these would perform so well for so little. Last night I played some of the train scenes from polar express. My 2300 hatred this movie. These just wanted more. My room has never sounded of shook like this before. No port noise or signs of stress just loud clean bass. Played back some of the scenes in 9 and same thing these just pounded me and my room. I still need to eq them a little but I am just enjoying them for now. Thanks to everyone that helped along the way.

I have added the A2300 to the left rear corner. It does sound ok with the fronts but if I go to high with the gain it draws attention to its self but after some fiddling I have it integrated pretty well. It will be a while before I get the diy subs in each back corner but for now these are still pretty impressive.
