Hi,
I'm new to the forums but have read articles about A/V receivers here for a while. My question is:
How is the Pioneer SP-FS52-LR Andrew Jones Designed Floor standing Loudspeakers compared to the Sony SS-F6000 6.5" Floorstanding Speakers?
I got the Pioneer SP-FS52s for $75 each, which was pretty sweet. But not I see the Sony SS-F6000 speakers pop up for $100 for a PAIR ($50 each) @ Frys. I've heard very good things and expert reviews about the Pioneer Speakers, but I can't seem to find much on the Sony speakers. They don't have one expert review I could find online. I've also hear Sony's are noted very much to have superior sound quality over other brands. I understand the SS-F6000 speakers have been out since around 2007, and the Pioneers were recently released in May 2012. But the specs on the Sony speakers actually have larger subwoofer drivers than the Pioneer, which would better low ends? 50kHz max freq response is ridiculous though. I won't be listening for those ranges.
If anybody has any insights on which would be better overall considering sound quality and pricing.
Thanks!
