Next best LCD compared to a Sony XBR929

I'm in the market for a lcd for my home office. Currently have an ld XBR3. My fine lcd is a Sony XBR929 55". I'm looking for something that has a somewhat comparable pic, but costs a lot less? Any suggestions? Like a Vizio? Samsung. Since for the home office, I'd like it to be fairly cheap, since really is only for background, when I'm working (I work from home). Any help would greatly be appreciated.
