Front Speakers with YAMAHA RX-V471

Hello everyone, my doubt is very simple! LOL smile.gif
I´ve got a receiver YAMAHA RX-V471, and i´m looking for 2 front speakers, they will be the only ones by now.
My intention is to listen to music (rock, jazz, blues) and watch movies 50% 50%, small living room, about 16m2.
My idea is to find two "ok" front speakers for a low/medium price, later i will add the rest for the HT.
In a price range i made a "small" list, what do you guys think?
Others suggestions would be welcome.

* Jamo is 6 Ohms, does that do any difference?
** I noticed in some speaker's description the word "Crossover", but not in others, is that relevant?

For $200, Amazon still has a few pairs of Monitor 40 speakers for $200 per pair.

You can also get the Polk R300 tower speakers for $90 each.

Either of these would be the best sound for the buck in that price bracket IMO.

For front speakers, you want the main driver to be at least 5.5 inches; no smaller.

I have the Polk RTi4's as my front two speakers and I love them however I have found they need along with other bookshelf speakers need a subwoofer to really shine. Yes I am amazed with the RTi4's performance alone without a subwoofer but it really helps to have one

I would look at the Pioneer towers since they would perform the best until you get a subwoofer

Thanks for the opinions guys.
Yes rob, i just don´t know if bookshelves are good enought without a subwoofer, if i should get a tower... But problably it depends on the quality, not the type, right?

The Andrew Jone's Pioneer speakers are highly underrated. I recommend those with your setup.
