Hi guys,
I currently have an Acer Easystore H340 and it is getting to be time to upgrade. At the moment I am really unsure about which case to use. I was hoping I could tap into the expertise of the users on this forum for advice. I will be looking at using something like this
http://www.wegotserved.com/2009/02/21/hands-on-norco-ss-500-backplane-hot-swap-module/
A 5 into 3 backplane for those who don't want to click. I am planning on using 2 of them. So my question is which case would fit two of these without case mods? I have googled around, but haven't really found much that matched what I was looking for.
EDIT: As for form factor, I was thinking smaller, but I have started to think that maybe something a bit larger would be better for keeping things cool. Anyhow, I look forward to your advice guys!
EDIT 2: for the motherboard I am looking at one of these
http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Core/H61/C7H61.cfm
http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Core/H61/C7H61-L.cfm
http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C202_C204/X9SCL-F.cfm
Ideally I would like something with 6 SATA 3 ports and dual NICs (nice but not a necessity), so if anyone knows of a mobo like that, please let me know
.
EDIT: come to think if it, 8 Sata ports may better serve my needs (6 for the storage drives +1 for the OS drive. Probably not going to find many 7 SATA port mobos).
Thoughts on this mobo?

Found a mobo with 7 SATA 3 ports

Know of any mobos for a core processor like this?
TIA guys!
