I just purchased an energy 5.1 take classic and wasn't sure if I should bother with the surround speakers given the awkward layout. The sofa is the primary seat in the room then the recliner on the same wall. At 32 inches from the rear corner the speaker would be at 90 degrees to the people on the recliners. All speakers will be wall mounted due to the baby. Front speakers just below the tv on the same plane. Then the surround speakers will be placed higher at six feet off the ground. Do I aim the at each other? Slightly towards the front? Or do I place them in the corners aimed at the sweet spot in the middle of the three seat positions? All advice is greatly appreciated.
