No Video in Smart Share (USB) or YouTube

I have owned the 47LM7600 for a couple days and downloaded the latest software update. While experimenting with a few things, I notice that when i go to Smart Share and plug in a USB drive with videos (mp4), I get sound, but just a black screen. Same thing when trying to view a video in You Tube. Has anyone else had this issue??

I've been searching the threads but haven't seen this issue yet.

What codec, resolution, bitrate, container, etc are the videos in?

Most are "mp4", some are ".mov". I talked to an LG rep, who said that most mp4s are not compatible with the LM7600. I am in the process of converting those files to ".avi".

Any other solutions?

Avi, mp4 and mov are just containers. There could be any codec inside there. Without knowing what codec, resolution, and bitrate your videos are in, we can't help you.
