Palliser Lemans/Media

Hello All,

FIrst post, but long time lurker....

My room will be finished shortly and I've narrowed it down to the Palliser Lemans and Media (only because out of the 6 models I've seen they are most comfortable). That being said, they are totally different chairs styles.

Anyone out there have these models and care to comment on longterm comfort.

Thanks in advance.

I have the Lemans. The only thing I can compare it with are my older Berkline 088 leather manual recliners.

The berklines I can fall asleep in 5 minutes. The Lemans, I will never see myself falling asleep in (lol). When fully reclined, it is not 180 degrees flat (like the berklines). I wonder if the leather is a lot more comfortable than the cloth/micro material I have.

The Lemans LOOKS awesome. Here they are in my house:

I've had the Palliser Medias for a few months now. They are fairly comfortable but I'm already finding things that I wish they had:

1) a more stylish appearance
2) more padding on the headrest. I need to put about a 4" pillow behind my head when reclined to get the perfect angle.
3) The leather is cold. I kinda wish I would have purchased the fabric versions.
4) the leather squeaks when bringing the recliner down.

Just my $0.02.

Re #4. Try some baby powder in between the chair back and arm and chair seat and arm.

Elmalloc - When you are full reclined, how is your viewing angle. My screen will be farely low. I saw in a video that the headrest articulates forward to provide a better position. Can you comment on how that works? Are you still liking your seating? Any regrets?

I'm looking at the Lemans in leather.

Thank you for your time.
