I need to remove this CRT from the chassis to disassemble it and replace the coolant, I've downloaded the factory service manual for it, but it's too generic and vague concerning this procedure.
Has anyone worked on this particular model and have tips/hints for what I am planning on doing?
BTW, repairs to this set started off with a convergence issue, I've already replaced both IC's associated with that problem
Since I have the chassis out of the set I decided to check all 3 CRT's, the blue unit is anything but blue
Looking into it's lens reveals a tan/off white shade, leading me to believe that the coolant has algaed
