At least it's weird to me. Basically, what's going on is when I am watching TV, a movie, playing a game, whatever, all of a sudden my picture and sound will cut out for about 5 seconds. At first I thought this was totally random and potentially related to my TV, but then I picked up on something. The problem occurs when I move pillows, or people move, in a certain area of my living room on my couch... As far as I can tell it's related to static electricity - I've just never seen this before, it's such an odd thing. I can easily replicate the issue by rubbing two pillows together and dropping them on my couch. Through the process of elimination, I believe I've pinpointed the Denon as the culprit, as direct connections via HDMI (everything is connected via HDMI) to the TV eliminate the problem. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anything I'm missing? Or does this sound like a unit with some faulty interference shielding?
