Hey guys, need a little help with my Denon receiver. It's an AVR 884, so it's a little older...has no HDMI inputs or anything, but it still works well.

I have two external speakers (B&W) hooked up to my receiver. My Apple TV, Cable Box, and Blu Ray all are hooked up into my TV (through HDMI), and then I have an optical audio cable running from my TV into my receiver.

The main problem is the audio and video matching up. Sometimes it seems to be fine, but other times it seems to be a tiny bit off...I notice it when I watch Netflix on the Apple TV and certain shows on TV on different channels.

I know that some receivers have a Lip Sync setting to help with this problem, but I'm not sure if my receiver has it...there's no button for it on the front of the receiver.

Also, I'm not sure if the speaker distance in relation to the front of the TV matters, or the distance from the couch? Maybe this is what is making it seem off?

Anyway, any help or tips about this would be really appreciated!

Thanks,
Darren.
