Hi there,
I have an NAD M15 (not the HD one) which sounds great when fed raw digital audio from my Popcorn Hour A-110 or in analog mode from my Oppo BDP83SE, but lately I have been watching a lot of 720p and 1080p .mkv videos and the M15 won't decode the audio on a LOT of them. The Oppo, while a brilliant BD player, doesn't play a lot of these mkvs well, so I have to set my A110 to output PCM decoded audio to the NAD m15, and it often sounds terrible.
So I am not sure what to do. I don't want to replace my M15 obviously, but is there a streaming with acceptable DAC for my situation, or do I need to go the HTPC route? I realise that all of the above equipment is a few years old now...
