Setting up Dune Base 3.0 and WHS 2011 server.

Currently have the Dune player and it worked with a older HP 495 with WHSv1. Upgraded to a new server with whs 2011 installed on a 128gb ssd, and 6 new HDD for my movie collection.
I installed DrivePool on the server, created a new folder for the videos, then from the Dune, had to create a new network connection to find the server and set it up using SMB. Issue is the movies don't play correctly...all blocky and stutters.
So I turned on the NFS on the server, but since it doesn't work with drive pool, had to uninstall it go with individual drives. Created the connection on Dune to the NFS folder, but videos played same way as over SMB.
So question is, what is wrong. This all worked fine on the older version just fine, but now is crap. I have to be missing something in the setup. I also thought the Dune would see the server automatically. Another issue with NFS is only able to enable it on one drive, so what do I do with the video collection on all the other drives.
Should I upgrade the Dune to a newer version or the new Met.... Player. Please, any help with this headache.

you should use a jukebox to manage your collection. All jukeboxes can use username/password access to your drives (SMB or NFS).

If SMB is stuttering, try to enable or disable fast SMB and check if that changes anything.

question : are you using a netgear router or switch ?

Tried the Dune setting like you mentioned with no help.
Using a Linksys router.
Currently staring a fresh install of the WHS software on the machine to see if anything changes.
Wondering if the MB drivers I install might have something to do with performance.

I followed his NFS guide to get it set up, but still same issues.
Putting aside the blocky playback, I have a question related just to NFS.

When you install the service, reboot, and then select a HD/Folder to enable NFS, it will let you.
But when I go to another HD/Folder and try to share it thru NFS, it will not allow me.
How do you enable NFS sharing on all HDD's and folders in the system?

Ok, I did a clean install and set things up abit different this time, and all works well thru the SMB. Hoping when I install DriveBender, SMB will still work.

But, still would like to know about the NFS question I posted earlier, if anyone knows.
