HDMI Cable recommendation for 25-30' run to projector.

Hey guys,

I am going to have a single run from my A/V Receiver to my Projector.

I have looked at Monoprice & Bluejean cables. I think I am going to stay away from the RedMere cables.

Anyone used the Bluerigger for 25-30' runs?

This will be an in-wall installation so I want to make sure I don't run into issues later.

I will be running a blue-ray player, XBOX 360, PS3 & DricTV box through my receiver.

There was someone else that had an issue with RedMere and having to turn their projector off and back on when they switched inputs.

I'd make sure to connect the components and try the handshakes before you run the in wall, to help insure no issues will pop up. Any run over 15-20' can be tricky, (for 3d content more so), due to different component sensitivity with hdmi. I haven't seen many people report issues with Redmere, and monoprice is good about returns. Redmere is directional, so if you do try 'em, be aware the cable connections have to be made with the correct dataflow direction.

If it were me, and wanted to help insure future compatibility with this in wall run, I'd look into using http://www.avsforum.com/t/1384980/the-unoffical-source-for-everything-hdbaset or cat5 with hdmi.

Blue Jeans Cables, BJC-1.

I've been running a 45' cable for over three years now without any problems what so ever. Highly recommended.
