Vizio M550VSE Owners?

Thread Starter
Hi,

I was very close to purchasing this set today at Best Buy ($870),

Wondering if any owners are around here?

My primary usage will be PS3 gaming and Blu-Ray.

Really interesed in knowing how's the 120hz on this set.

I plan on buying this TV next weekend for my 360 and PS3 and I wanted to know everyone's opinion on it, I couldn't find a thread on it so I guess this is it. I was going to get the 60" for $999 but my room is kinda small and if I get this than I can get the VHT510 and pay around the same price. Since I'm kinda new to the AV world, does anyone have any suggestions on what wall mount I should use for the 55"?

This 1 is better than the 60 and better than the 55 inch 3d Visio that's at SAMs club for 828.00.. Ps3 looks great I've been playing a lot of bf3 no lag... Turn off all the wow settings and calibrate it, it looks as good as my panny tc-50pu54.

Awesome, thanks.

I been thinking of getting BF3 for PS3 since I already have it for 360 but I want the premium edition. I'll buy it when I get the TV so I can break it in some.

Any suggestions on good configurations to set on the TV?
I know all displays are different because I work with flat panel monitors for air traffic control systems and there is nothing uniform about the color settings in any of them but I would like a point of reference for it.

Thanks

I really dig this setup! I was adjusting it on as I read through your post and it looks great!

As for the OPs question(or to anyone else looking into this tv), this tv is pretty awesome I actually found this forum looking for an answer to my own question and decided to post my own thoughts. This tv is pretty great, I have been using it to game with my xbox since I've had it. I haven't had the opportunity to use this tv with a cable box or anything just yet but as for gaming it has a really great picture!(even better now with TK111s settings! haha) The only downside to this tv that I have had so far was that I couldn't use an old stereo set I had. It's a Sony stereo. I'm looking into it right now which is the whole reason for visiting this forum, but I can't connect my stereo to this tv, and I think it has something to do with having to use the optical out. buuut im not to sure! anyways have fun with your new tv whoever buys it! the 120hz looks pretty decent btw but i don't think its "TRUE" 120hz from looking around at other forums and reviews but the picture is still pretty good to me....its a matter of preference i guess. rolleyes.gif

I went to Walmart last week and they were out of the M550VSE so I ended picking up a Vizio E500i-A1 and the only downside I seen with it was that it doesn't come with a keyboard remote. I ordered one off Amazon and got it yesterday, put batteries inside it and it worked like a charm.
