[Vintage] Kenwood Model 11GX discovered

Continuing to rummage around in my father's basement, I discovered his old Kenwood Model 11GX receiver. Took the case apart, cleaned it up a bit, and powered it on. Once I re-foam the old Infinity Reference Three speakers I also found down there, this is going to be a nice vintage set. Here's a pic of the Kenwood:

Anyone by any ideas where I could find a manual? Also, anyone know what the specs are for the Model 11GX?

Taking that thing apart was amazing. The size and heft of the case alone is unreal. Best of all, it still sounds great!

I'm pretty happy with this find. My 9 year old son is even more happy. As enamored with iPhones and iPads and Nanos and computers and all things digital, when we hit the power on the Kenwood, the old lights began to glow, the needles began to bounce, and his eyes lit up. His words: "Dad, this is SICK!" I'm pretty sure that means he likes it. Which is good, because I told him this beast and my old Infinity speakers are his when we get them all cleaned up and fixed. And so it begins . . . smile.gif

That's a beauty ... I can't ever remember seeing a Kenwood that looked that nice. Sounds like you have future audiophile in the family. I suggest you let him have the Kenwood and the Infinitys when everythings up and running. cool.gif
