Popcorn machine that has power cable behind it (hidden).

I read a few months ago of a popcorn machine I wanted to buy (the metropolitcan, or paragon contempo?) - someone said the power cable came out the side (which was annoying to them).

I want to block my outlet with the machine and basically hide the power with the machine and base. Can someone tell me what popcorn machine they have (if the power comes out of the back of it?). Any pictures of how your machine's power cable looks coming out of the popper?

Thanks!

The Cineplex from Paragon is the most popular model around here lately,
And will likely be my next model too. (My cheap freebie Nostalgia Electrics model died last year.)

The copper/bronze one looks the best (imho)

Thanks! Cineplex doesn't seem to have a 6oz popper? I read 4 oz is a little too small, and 8oz is kind of expensive.

Based on my very limited use, I could probably get away with 4oz. I agree, that copper base looks awesome and would fit with my decor (wooden laminate floors).

Making two back-back batches of 4oz packages takes almost no time at all.
Once the kettle is hot, the second batch pops in half the time. wink.gif

I have the Cineplex and do wish it was bigger, but you can easily pop 3 batches before the machine fills up, so it'll hold 8+ "servings"...

I owe $1800 on my CC bill, so I'll pay that off in the next day or two first.

HOPE NONE OF YOU TAKE THE LAST ONE ON AMAZON DURING THAT TIME BEFORE I FEEL BETTER ABOUT PURCHASING!!! THERE IS ONLY ONE LEFT, AND I KIND OF NEED THIS IN TIME FOR THE SUPABOWL THIS WEEKEND.

really crazy home theater there jautor

I have the Paragon Cineplex 4 oz. popper in Antique Copper and it looks AWESOME in person. Like what has been said before, it's very easy to pop consecutive batches in very little time. As a bonus, the Paragon has a lifetime warranty for in home use on the 4 oz popper.

No. High School graduation year and the year I saw The Crow. So, we're both getting old...lol.

I was also concerned about this when I got my Paragon Theater Pop 8-ounce. I tried putting the popcorn machine sideways against wall so cord would be against wall but I didn't like it that way at all.

Here is how it looks now, I've basically forgotten about the side power cord at this point and am very content with how it is setup (you can see it coming out side but the trash can blocks most of the cord view).

Thank you for that informative post and picture! I will order the 4oz tomorrow most likely and will post pictures of it in it's final Resting place.

Looks great! Now get that thing full of fresh popcorn!!! biggrin.gif

While that location would be very convenient for refills from the primary seating location, you might try it up against the wall... biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

You'll be very happy with it! Now get popping.
