Kef T305 Speaker System question

Ive decided to go with the Kef T305 speaker system for my new movie room. I have a noob question I was hoping somebody could please help me with. I want to set up a 7.2 system, I see the surround speakers for the T305 system are the T301's, and the center speaker for the system is the T301c.

Both speaker types seem to me to be identical in all ways except that the surround 301 hangs long ways up (vertical), and the center 301c hangs long ways side to side (horizontal). Could I use the center speaker (301c) as surround speakers? I have an open doorway directly to the right of my seating area so there is not a place to hang the surround 301 speaker, however there is a 12" soffit along the ceiling that would allow me room to hang the center 301c speakers from. I would angle the speaker down toward the seating area. So in short I am hoping I can use 2 of the center 301c speakers in place of 2 of the the surround 301 speakers.

Thank you.

In short - yes you can use two centers as surrounds. Some surround speakers are designed with speakers aimed in opposite directions aiding in sound filed dispersion, but many folks here use old main speakers or bookshelf speakers as surrounds as well.

Im going to be using a Denon AVR-2113CI. Ill be using a splitter to run two subs as there is only 1 output. I read a post on here that said that was possible.
