Re-using old wall stud mount holes - Upgrading from LCD to Plasma

Thread Starter
I am upgrading my Samsung LN52B750 (67.5lbs) to a Panasonic TC-P65VT50 (128lbs). I don't remember the exact specs of my current wall mount, but am pretty sure it is not designed for a 130lbs, so I will be purchasing a new mount designed for 130lbs.

My questions is, has anyone ever re-used existing wall stud mounting holes? If so, did you use slightly larger bolts to ensure a solid mount?

The other option is to drill new holes in the wall studs. If I do this, how far from the current holes should I drill (2")?

Thanks in advance!

The VT is 94 lbs without the stand and 106 with the stand. The 130 is the shipping weight.

I would either go with a larger bolt or move the holes, an inch or so should be good.
