How do I control Somfy RF with iRule?

Integrating a standalone RF system is always a challenge. I don't have an answer to your specific question, but it did get me noodling on the topic of any viable alternative approaches: Depending on the price/availability of the Somfy RF remote + your comfort with pulling one apart and tinkering, you could consider doing something similar to this:

You basically use the Velleman IR switching kit (which is really easy to put together) to emulate button pushes and control it using a standard emitter/blaster with iRule

....I don't know the number of buttons on your remote, but you could also maybe use iRule to control the open/close contacts on an iTach or GC-100 to simulate button pushes....just a thought.
