Hello AVS readers,
I'm a first time poster but a long time reader. I am replacing my ancient Samsung 40 inch LCD. I believe I have it narrowed down to two TVs. The Samsung UN55ES7100 or the LG 55LM7600. I've read extensive reviews on the LG but cannot find a ton of reviews on the Samsung. I've read through both of the threads that have been written on each and do not find anything that is glaring for either of them. I like the samsung smart apps vs the LG ones, but do like that the LG has the 4th HMDI port. I do realize either of these would be a drastic upgrade over my current Samsung, but want some help in deciding which one of these TVs to get. Are there any other Tvs in this price range I should be looking at like the Panasonic ST50 or Vizio E601i-A3? The room where this is going has a bunch of windows so it gets fairly bright during the day so a screen that could withstand that would be favorable. Thanks for reading and hope for some help in my decision.
