Advice for my first home theater

I'm putting together some equipment and so far I have:

2x PSB Image T6
1x PSB Image C5
1x PSA XV15 (probably)

I'll be hooking up a 360, PS3, Apple TV and an HTPC as well as a 52" Samsung

I'm looking for a receiver and I'm not entirely sure where to start. I'd like to keep it <$1000, maybe closer to 500 if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks a lot. The couple you listed seem to be older models. Any reason not to go with the newer ones other than price? What should I be looking for in terms of wattage per channel for my speakers. Do I need to worry about impedance as well?

In the past 2-3 years the new receivers have released nothing new. Except maybe streaming services/network connection and other in my opinion pointless features that you can just use hooking up a laptop or w/e to it. You have a htpc so you won't need any features of an amp except for decoding and amplification and switching. Any amp in the made in the past 5 years works fine for that. The newer models are a couple hundred more for no new features.

Right now I think I'm leaning towards the Onkyo 717 or a refurb Denon 3313

I do like the network connections simply because I can control them with my phone though. That's kind of a big selling point for me

Both ones I linked have networking, even though they're the older models.
