Setup and Home Menus

Thread Starter
I just purchased and installed the BDP-103. When I hit the "Setup" or "Home" buttons without a disk in, "Setup Menu" or "Home Menu" show up on the units display; but, the actual menus will not display on my TV.

If I am playing a blu-ray and hit "Setup", the Setup Menu will display on my TV and I have use of its full functionality.

If I am playing a blu-ray and hit "Home", the Home Menu still does not display on my TV (there is a click that I assume is an HDMI switch and the TV goes blank and indicates there is no signal); although, I do have use of the functions. (This use is very limited because I can't see what I would be selecting. For example, I can "right arrow" once to get Music and "Music" will show on the units display. Since I can't see a list of the music on the TV, however, I really can't pick any.

Anyone have a solution for this? (I did search for quite a while; but, I could not find anything addressing this.)

BTW, it does have the latest firmware ... 1220.

Thanks,
Mike

My apologies -- I thought that was what I was doing. Darn noobs wink.gif .

Moderator(s), will you please move this thread to the BDP-103 owners' thread?
