I've always been a lean man all the way. Funny you mention BBQ b/c I just had lunch at a Dickey's around here. It almost beats Rudy's...almost!
1) I cannot get the caller ID to work on the TV. I've made sure the box is checked on the X1 box and on the website. When the tech associated the box with my account, he used my cell phone number and not my new 'land line' number. Could this be the reason? Is there another trick?
2) I am consistently getting around 25mbps w/ 'Blast' on all my WiFi connected devices. When I showed this to the tech, he said 'Its b/c you're on WiFi" and showed me that plugged directly into my router, it was about 48mbps. I have a brand new, top of the line $170 D-Link router, so I don't think that is capping any speed. Everything is on 2.4ghz, with no other devices on that range in the house (I think..) I wonder if I need this 'drop amp' you guys been talking about or what? The tech did install this heavy duty switch box (like huge, beige box) where all my wires go and took out an 'outdated' amplifier I had..
