Anyone seen this before? I still plan to cancel voice and put my old equipment in place but it's always a one hour or longer line at the Comcast service center to return things (people lined up inside, then outside, wrapped around the building every single day, all day - Comcast deserves their reputation for horrible customer service).
I just got it installed today and had the same problem within the hour of activating it. It hasn't occurred the rest of the night.
As far as X1, it SUCKS!!! You press the red record button for instant recording and the display light is not reliable indicator of whether it is being recorded or not. You hve to go all the way into the recordings listings to see if it is happening or not. What a junk DVR. The percentage of recorded space is not displayed on my DVR. The responsiveness of the DVR to the remote is erratic. Even if you use the guide grid, the red circle is not consistent in being displayed next to all scheduled recordings. This is unacceptable as the DVR should not rule your life where every single tiny recording decision is followd by multiple steps to ensure it is really going to be recorded.
Been a COMCAST customer for a looong time. If this X1 is not fixed, I am going to ask for my old DVR or I nmight switch. Satellite DVRs have been more advanced and better and reliable for years. Why is this NON Revolutionary product so bug filled?
