I call this my practical system because I have no dedicated space in the house nor unlimited financial resources to build the kind of dream HT system that I would like. This represents a compromise that my wife and I arrived at after discussing our combined AV and interior design needs. We're both very pleased with the result.

Denon AVR 2112ci outputs: main zone uses 5.1 speaker configuration, zone 2 feeds into Denon AVR-789 to power kitchen and deck stereo speakers, monitor output to Samsung TV
Denon AVR-789 inputs: Sirius/XM Home Connect Tuner, AVR-2112ci zone 2 (to send audio to kitchen and deck speakers)
Denon AVR-789 outputs: Front main A for kitchen speakers, B for deck speakers, zone 2 feeds into AVR-2112ci to send Sirius/XM signal for main system
