Klipsch Icon KF-28 vs F-30

Are the Icon's just cheeped down Synergy speakers or are they totally different? I want something powerful for 2.0 music.

Are these good values or do the RF-82's just blow them away?

I'm trying to find a place to listen to these, the Polk RTi A9's, Wharfedale Diamond 10.7's and the JBL 590's but I don't think there's a single JBL dealer for them in MN.

They are basically the same speaker with almost identical specs. Best Buy only sells the Klipsch Icon Series and HH Gregg only sells the Klipsch Synergy Series so I'm guessing they just made them different to let each store sell something slightly different.

The RF82IIs should blow them away.

You may also want to check out BIC Acoustech PL-89 speakers I have them and they are very nice.

I believe it's late 2010 when the current gen models started to come out.

oh ok, I was thinking I might like 3 8" driver even more than 2 but I guess ill never find out.

I have a pair of f3's and I'm slightly disappointed..explain what you mean by "rf82II will blow away the f3's" looking for an upgrade soon and looking for input.

Oh I didn't know that the Synergy's were only for HH Gregg? So there ref line is like there only "real" speakers. The one place I have around here should be getting some in soon for me to listen to.

I owned the Synergy speaker line before I upgraded to the References. I really liked the Synergys until I heard the References. The References are leaps and bounds better.

I have the Icon VF-36 towers and I loved them until I heard the Reference series and now they suck. tongue.gif I got a great deal on them though and will keep them for a while.

Yeah same here I got my SP-FS51 package half off so paying double for the 52's doesn't seem worth it and I want to go with something better.
