Not really, just takes about 5-10 minutes of trying to log in before getting put in a queue.

EDIT: Didn't even take that long this time, I tried to log in once and was put into the queue at position 14, 20 seconds later, loaded into the world.

Anyone playing Rayman Legends on PC?

I was thinking of waiting for the inevitable sale, but with the long weekend ahead I'm kinda tempted.

EDIT: D'oh - PC version not out 'til the 3rd. mad.gif

I'll probably grab the Wii U version eventually for the touchscreen controls. I loved the murphy challenges on the Wii U. I just have too much to play so I'll wait for the price drop.

Glad to hear that it improved.

Currently clearing out my backlog (or trying to put a dent in it) by playing Just Cause 2. It's very fun, but it is extremely repetitive. I think this is the kind of game that could've benefitted from a 10 hour campaign, because most of the missions feel incredibly similar to one another. The game is MASSIVE...TOO massive IMO. It takes too long to get to anywhere new, but thankfully you can get transported to any location you've been to already.

Playing on an XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB at 60fps with settings maxed (AA 2x). It's a great looking game on my new plasma.

I'm coming off of beating all the light world levels in Super Meat Boy, so a slower game like this is appreciated haha.

So the Hangar Module for Star Citizen is out. I only have one ship, the Origin 300i. Anyway short vid showing it off in my cheapo hangar. Keep in mind this game is pre-alpha, the Hangar module is ver 0.1, but it still looks gorgeous. Also as I found out after I recorded this, there is a Very High graphics option I couldn't select for some reason, but can now, so I'll probably be making another video at some point.

But yeah, cannot wait for this game to come out. Oh and apologies for the audio

This is the game from the maker of Wing Commander and Privateer isn't it? I'm totally looking forward to seeing how this turns out!

Yes it is, I cannot wait.

Also for anyone interested, as a Veteran Backer, I can purchase packages and ships that come with lifetime insurance on said ships. SO if you want to get in on this let me know and we can work it out. Basically you shoot me the money via PayPal, I buy the package/ship, then gift it to you on the RSI Star Citizen site, that way you get lifetime insurance. I did it for a friend of mine this morning. Otherwise, new backers are limited. Depending on the ship you get 3, 6, 9, or 12 month insurance I think (after that you buy insurance in the game with credits).

I'll talk to youz about it later. tongue.gif

How does that work with ships? You buy one and if it gets blown up you have to buy a new one if it doesn't have insurance? The better the ship the more you have to pay?

I'm interested in the game, especially with rift support, but the backer site scared me off.

That's pretty much exactly how it work, like the way EVE Online works. If you don't have insurance, you're SOL if your ship gets destroyed, you fork over the cost an an entire new ship. The better the ship, the more you pay. Why did the backer site scare you off btw?

The prices for the ships. I wouldn't want to continuously spend real money on ships. I think I figured it out now though maybe.

So you get a ship based on how much you donate as a backer, but in the retail all of the ships(minus the backer ships) are available using in game currency? And you can use in game currency to buy insurance?

Also, do you know if rift support was added with the hangar?

Bingo, this is only if you want these ships at launch. All ships in game will be available through in-game currency, as well as the insurance. Buying them now with real money, serves 2 purposes. 1 - You're directly funding game development, and 2 -- You get to have them right away and not have to buy with in-game currency. (and to a lesser extent 3 - if you know the right people, you can still get lifetime insurance on them).

Not sure if the Hangar Module supports the OR just yet, it is only version 0.1

I still can't get into the damn game.

Just finished up Brothers A Tale of Two Sons. Quite good but a tad short. None of the areas ever felt like busy work and the presentation was great enough that my 2 year old could follow what was going on and helped narrate the action.

Also finished Brothers a Tale of Two Sons. Took me maybe a bit over 3 hours to get to the end. Great Looking game with some interesting environments.

What is it with Indy games and the Melancholy tone? Braid, Limbo, Journey, Bastion and now this?

AAA titles aren't doing it. Last of Us is the only one.

I actually notice a lot of indie games are kind of sad or even on the gross/vulgar side. Limbo was pretty violent, and then you have games like super Meat Boy or Binding of Isaac or dear Esther, Gone Home, and many others that are either kind of gross or have a somber tone. I guess it's to be expected when you don't have a publisher telling you to clean things up all the time.

I've been playing my free copy of Splinter Cell and am pretty happy with it. Anyone playing it? I haven't done any multiplayer in games in a long time and wanted to jump into the spies vs mercs. Should I get my mic ready or does everyone play without em?

Is anyone playing Outlast?

Been playing FIFA14 the past couple of days. Was happy to see the PC version was available at a good discount compared to console versions. Graphics are about the same as FIFA13 but the gameplay looks a bit more natural now. They really cleaned up the menus and they look pretty slick. Also added official FIFA World Cup tournament option which will be fun to dive into in the coming months.

Waiting for Ariel's awesome ModdingWay patch before starting Career mode. Keeping busy with FIFA Ultimate Team in the meantime.

I'm 50+ hours into Borderlands 2. Much better than the first game. Lots of humor. Not sure If I'll play through a second time as the enemies scale up along with your character. Have the season pass on Steam but don't know how to access the content.

Go to a fast travel station - the added chapters are new locations, like "Badass Crater of Badassitude" and "The Unassuming Docks of Potentially Little Importance".

The added chapters are a joy. smile.gif

So, I continue to play a little classic from 2008 called Fallout 3.

I'm on the Riley's Rangers quest. At this point in the quest, I'm supposed to return to the Ranger compound. I found the compound, but when I get there and try to enter one of the doors, the game always crashes. Should I try to start from an earlier save or something ? I'm used to Fallout 3 crashing on me all the freaking time. It's something I've learned to live with. But normally, I restart the game, and continue on down the road, and I'm able to continue. This is the first time where every single time I try to go through that specific door, the game crashes.

I just finished Max Payne 3. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. The cutscenes could be a bit much at times, but the gunplay was solid and the environments/set pieces were really well done. The game is stunning, especially walking around the favela in a tropical shirt.

Heck I have over 200 hours on Borderlands 2, my most played game of the year by a large margin, fantastic game!
