I have a question for those in the know. I have seen mentioned on more than one occasion that the ferrofluid commonly found in tweeters can, as one person said, get "cooked" if the driver is driven too hard. What exactly is ferrofluid and under normal use, how long does it last before performance begins to deteriorate, if ever?
