On Saturday, February 2, 2013, AVS Forum editor Scott Wilkinson will fill in as host of The Tech Guy radio show, which is heard on over 170 radio stations around the country and online around the world by over a million listeners. To find a station near you that carries the show, go to techguylabs.com/stations.

However, be aware that some stations carry only parts of the show, and some play all or part of it at a later time. The good news is that it's also streamed live. To watch and listen live, go to live.twit.tv from 11 AM to 2 PM PST (2-5 PM EST, 1900-2200 UTC). You can also join the chat room at irc.twit.tv. Later, the show will be posted as an audio and video podcast at twit.tv/ttg, iTunes, YouTube, and here on AVS Forum.

The show is normally hosted by tech guru Leo Laporte, and Scott is a regular guest on Saturdays right after the 11:30 news. But this Saturday, Leo will be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, and Scott is privileged to be his fill-in host, so the entire show will be about home theater, with Scott answering call-in questions from all over the country.

Please join Scott for three hours of home-theater geekdom!

Why, yes...you are! I posted this before I confirmed your appearance, but everyone should know that David will be joining me in the studio for the show. I always have a great time schmoozing with David on the air, and he's a big help answering call-in questions. Be sure to tune in for a double dose of home-theater hijinx!

Scott,

You & Leo mentioned on TechGuy podcast in early September a new sound bar expected to come out by the end of Sept and that you planned to check them out and let us know what you think.  I suspect you haven't yet had a chance, but I want to request your take on the best sound bars now available.   (I'm too cheap for an expensive sound system but my TV speakers need outside help.  :-)  )

Thanks for all the great shows and all the help.  Please check out the sound bars when you get a chance.
