]Hello all! I need some advice, if you could be so kind! I am looking for the best receiver for my setup. I have (4) floorstanding speakers at 200/rms 400/max, I have a center speaker, and sub. 5.1. I obviously want to have 5.1. I also have (2) ceiling speakers in my kitchen. Right now I am running a Phillips FR-951 which I have been using just to get by... Now I want to upgrade because it just doesnt have the power to push the speakers to there prime. I had run the speakers off of my old Sansui 9090DB and the sound was great! But, I need something with 5.1
So, what I am looking for is a receiver that can run proper wattage to all my 5.1 speakers plus my kitchen two (on/off). I need something with AB switching so I can run the kitchen speakers when pushing (B switch). But, unfortunately I havent found any receivers that offer AB switching anymore. I want atleast 90+ Watts per channel...
I had my heart set on the Harman/Kardon receivers but they are just far to much money! I really like the way it looked too! I have always had good luck with Yamaha receivers. I also have browsed through a bunch of Sony receivers that are pushing 135 watts per channel but no AB switch. I really can't spend more than 3-400 dollars at absolute maximim.
I dont need anything crazy with Video switching or a lot of HDMI's or anything. All I have is my TV and Blue ray player.
If someone could please help me out with some options it would be greatly appreciated!
I appologize if there is already a thread about this problem.
Thank you for your help!
