B&W Panorama 1/2 vs Yamaha YSP-4300

Thread Starter
I have currently the Panorama 1 didn't get the 2 cause of all those hdmi switching issues that still seems to happen and HDMI wasn't that big of a deal killer to me but then I notice the YSP-4300 was released not too long ago.

The price point isn't really a matter to me but does anyone own the YSP-4300 and also listened to the panorama? How do they compare? Can't find a YSP-4300 anywhere locally unfortunately but at the same time I don't want to buy one and wind up not liking it and needing to return it. Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

I have not heard the 4300, but I was was one the very first owners of the Yamaha ySP1, Currently have the 4100.. and a have heard every other model since then( Other than the 3300
And the 4300)
I have also heard the BMW panoramas.
For me it comes down to what you want from the sound bar. The Yamaha ( Especially set up properly in a good room walls) Will be a completely different level as far as actual surround sound. Another league.
The BMW Panorama is a beautiful 'sounding' soundbar. BMW makes very gorgeous speakers. So the actual sound is better, and if you want listen to music as a primary focus, there is no question the BMW.
From movies, for me there is no question the Yamaha.
