I just keep telling myself: Every BD that I don't buy now is one less "re-buy" about which I won't have to feel guilty . . . when I purchase the movie on next generation disc remastered in 4K2K and|or 3D audio...?!

well right now i have over 3300 titles and i do not have any intention to stop. Why? its cheaper than the movie theater, you can pause iit, go to bathrom, see it with unlimited amount of friends and family. Etc.
I get Bluray for 2 reasons. First is that I like to support the movies I enjoy and considering how many movies I have simple "downloaded" for free over the years, at this stage in my life my life I really feel obligated to pay some money back.
The second reason is that I love TrueHD and DTS-HD and no streaming service out there is able to duplicate that yet. I guess a 3rd reason would be that having a physical copy of the movie there is the best guarantee that you and your guests will be enjoying a movie without any technical difficulties.
Nope still plenty of stuff, well regarded films and classics even, that have yet to be released (or released in not literally broken form properly). We don't even have all the Hughes or Scorsese films yet.
The picture quality on streaming services stinks and the audio quality isn't tops either and you have no chance for extra and commentaries or alternate endings (which in the case of say Salt were pretty radically different, like what seemed to be a full 20 minutes re-shot!).
I believe that streaming movies is a terrible waste. It's clogging up all of our internet bandwidth for zero need and only to deliver a vastly inferior end product on top!
