I am having some trouble with an old LCD unit (2007), for details see here:

Anyway, I have sort of given up on repairing it legitimately so now I am toying with the idea of leaving it on all the time - it has a small, floating "no signal" box if I do that, and obviously the backlight stays on, etc.
Just curious how much current it would draw in this state, especially compared to in the 'off' state. If anyone has done this sort of test on (any) lcd, preferably larger in size (mine in 47"), I'd love to hear your numbers! Thanks.
