Will any 3D DLP work on a CIH setup using the zoom method?

I have a 40x96 scope screen. For scope films, I need to zoom out to fill the screen. Are there any 3D DLP projectors that work when using this zoom method? I want a DLP for 3D only. The room is only 12'11" deep so I don't have a long throw. Also, it needs to be placed within the screen area vertically, around 1/3 above bottom of screen. My JVC 2D is ceiling mounted so a DLP would need to be shelf mounted below it.

I know the mits7800 (probably most of their other PJs also) will do it for sure...I've seen the 7800 in action. Not sure if there are any others...

I called Mike at AVScience and he told me the Mits wouldn't work. He didn't know of any 3D DLP's that would.

When it comes to lens shift, DLP's are a JOKE compared to other projector types.

The w7000 won't work? It has almost as much zoom and a 3 LCD or JVC.

The Sharp xv-z30000 fits the bill, but at a price (~$3k now). Throw ratio 1.4-2.8, lens shift btwn top & bottom of screen, motorized zoom & focus with lens memory. A bit spendy for a 2nd, 3d only pj though.

The minimum zoom is 1.6. My room is only 12'11" deep so I wouldn't quite have enough thow to fill the screen. I wonder if the actual projector might deviate slightly from that 1.6 figure.
