Panasonic Professional Series Plasma Displays

Thread Starter
I always wondered how these compared with Pioneer Kuro's and the rest of plasma TV's. I have a 500M and in time I want to go to 65" and I like those pro series panels. How are these sets?

I don't keep up with them too much but I remember back before the VX300U came out, this place was going crazy over it, and after it came out.....the thread died real quick. I think the general consensus is that unless you really want the industrial-looking bezel, need to swap out input boards, or need the 85"+ model, the pro series Panasonics no longer exceed the consumer models in picture quality. The VX300 was also a late 2011 model, and I doubt it's better than the 2012 flagship VT50, or the upcoming ZT60.

I'd wait for the ZT60.

I too had high hopes for the pro series line, especially for the VX300 since I remember the VX100 released a few years before got rave reviews. They look better in my opinion (excluding the thickness) and reminded me of the Kuro in design, very no-nonsese and lacked things I don't want or need like internet widgets and speakers (again, like the Kuro pro monitors). Wish Panasonic would have done more with this line, but they were expensive as hell...
