Who would that be? I've seen DE and BPape mentioned on here do they have websites? I'm developing my basement and need some help with the design before I start building. My room will be about 13.7' x 17.75'. How much should I except to pay for this service?

Thanks

To the best of my knowledge the Erskine group still offers the basic design service via Shawn Byrne (SierraMikeBravo) for $500. IMHO the best $500 spent by someone just starting to think about their first dedicated theater. Now if you need framing designs, wiring diagrams, detailed construction notes, soundproofing instructions and acoustical treatment prescriptions expect to pay more.

Is the AV Science The Home Theater eBook worth buying? When you go to that page to buy the eBook there are a couple other services you can get too:

Home Theater Consultation: $249
Professional Theater Layout: $497

How do they compare to SierraMikeBravo?

Thanks

The book is worth buying it features some of my work!

Warren Peterson is knowledgeable and I'm sure the basic theater layout service is worth the money. But the Erskine group has a deeper technical knowledge base and considerably more competed projects under their belt. As I mentioned earlier if you need details beyond the basic the Erskine Group can provide those plans as well.
