I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade my receiver (Pioneer Elite VSX21TXH). I use it mainly for audio/BluRay with some streaming (Netflix/Pandora/Amazon)
So far I have been quite happy with the VSX21 but would like better built-in internet accessibility to Pandora etc.
Here's my speaker setup (3.1)
Towers: B&W 804S, bi-amped
Center: B&W B&W HTM61
Sub: Elemental A5-350
First, I'm wondering if an upgrade makes sense - I have upgraded the speakers since getting the receiver and am wondering if it's maybe just a bit behind.
Second, I'm wondering if there's a good upgrade to be had at a reasonable price - the first thing that caught my eye was the Pioneer Elite SC-63 which is running $849 on Amazon, but I'm wondering what some of the local experts think about the best features/sound available in that price range.
Any advice/recommendations would be warmly appreciated.
