That's looking awesome. Can you take pics of your wiring hookups. I'm interested in DIY subs, and when I do one it will be my first time too.

No tweaking yet. Listened to some tunes and now the boys are watching Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole .

So how do they sound? What sub(s) did you have previously and how do they compare?

I have the dual SW-12B Sub Woofer /PR-12A from gr-research. I think I have had those since 2005. I still have not tweaked anything but they do dig deeper and have a little more punch. Can't wait to get them tweaked.

So I have everything set to the right except for Bridge mode = off(left). On the gain knobs I started off with both at 26 and ran my mcacc(Pioneer) with that. Where do most people set the gain knobs at?

Do people leave these amps on all the time or use some type of relay switch? I may put mine outside of the living room which means it would be easier to leave it powered on all the time.

Gain depends on the source (receiver) output voltage. Its different for everyone. For example, when I ran Audyssey I had to set my gain knobs to about 8 o'clock. When I want some bass in music I'll crank it 12 or 3 o'clock.

There are a couple guides here somewhere explaning how to use a relay to switch on the amp.
