I've been trying to sort through various LED TV reviews. After reading (too) many seemingly contradictory reviews I'm confused on how several models actually compare to each other in picture quality.
I plan to return to the local stores to try and see if I can compare the various sets in person. But I was hoping that there might be a consensus on how some models compare.
Some reviews I saw indicated that the Samsung UNXXES7100/ES7500/ES8000 picture quality was fairly comparable (to each other), while others seemed to say not so much. (I see from the spec's that these models all have differences of course).
One review claimed a substantially better off-axis viewing for the ES8000 only (compared to the 7500 and 7100). Another claimed the ES7500 PQ was very much like the ES8000.
Does anyone know if they see a lot of difference between these? I was hoping to avoid having to pay for the extra 'Smart-TV' options ((which I'm not really interested in) of the 7500/8000 when I only want the (potentially) better picture quality.
Also, is there a consensus on how the HX850 picture quality compares to the ES7500? I see different reviews that have opposing opinions on which is 'clearly better', so I'm guessing the answer is probably 'no'
