Bridging Denon AVR-1801 channels for stereo

Hi all, I have been searching but haven't found the answer yet to my question.
Lat year I upgraded my home cinema amp from Denon 1801 to a Denon 2113. Loving it. Now I want to use the 1801 for my stereo set up elsewhere in the house. Can I bridge the front & rear channels to increase power out put? If so, how?

Thanks all. biggrin.gif

You can connect fronts to front A and front B and set A+B on the receiver but I don't think you will get what you want.. frown.gif you can try though smile.gif

btw, maybe offtopic but how would you say that upgrade to newer receiver change stereo music reproduction, and everything? I have 1802, very similar, probably same receiver as yours 1801 and I am thinking about new receiver with HDMI inputs smile.gif

Nope .. single power supply for one thing. If you want more power you would need to upgrade to the 3313CI to get FL/FR pre-outs to add a more powerful external amp (eg. Emotiva XPA-2).
