planning a new AVR w/ Harmony 700

Thread Starter
I'm planning a new AVR from Yamaha 465 to a high end Yamaha w/ Harmony 700 7.7 sofware.

is there a easy painless way to replace this AVR as a device? simiarl to replacing the remote?

or after deleting current AVR as device I will record all the current connections and dupilcate them then add new AVR to each activity?

Thanks for any tips. STB

Doesn't really matter. I usually add the new device then go through the activity setups again to use the new device and input commands. But if you delete the old device first, you're forced to run through the activity setups again anyway. If you don't have room for the new device, you'll have to delete the old one first.

The benefit of adding the new device first is you can test the input commands first.

In any case, you don't want to modify your activities until you've added the new device.
