Manual states that speakers should be mounted 2-3 ft. above ear level. This is an old Onkyo TX SR 304 with 6" high speakers, (5.1).. Should I just pick the 3' mark and mount all speakers the same ht.? many thanks
Mine are a tad bit above ear level when sitting on my couch. I think the mid-point would be a good compromise. If the speakers are on telescoping stands, try different positions and see what sounds best.
