I have the Dell XPS 8500 PC, AMD HD Radeon 7570, ASUS DSX Sound card, and Dayton Audio HTP-2 5.1 Speaker system. I have no idea how to connect the powered sub, and sound card. So, what are the connections required and cables to make this work?

The ASUS Sound card has as Center/Subwoofer port (3.5mm) AND S/PDIF Out port (3.5mm) AND S/PDIF Out Header( that connects to the graphics card with HDMI support.)
